A bit unsure...

Now, I feel this is not a kit, I will tell you why.........last year I did buy the pattern at Nundle, this year when I returned the fabric was there to make up this pattern, yes it did have a pattern with it, but I already had that so I just purchased the fabric, so technically it is not a kit nor is it a fabric bundle with a pattern.....they are really just two nice purchases.....do you agree?? It is Friday again, have a great day...

  11. Lol Peg... I love your reasoning. You sound like me! (Except your kits get made.... mine languish in my cabinet!)

  12. There's nothing to it -- you bought the pattern and then went back and bought some fabrics to go with -- so how could it be a kit? Love the way you think!

  13. Now Peg, did someone tell you you have too many kits? Cause I always think that too many kits are never enough! Don't be afraid to admit you have kits. All the best quilters do!

  14. I definately agree Peg...absolutely two seperate purchases and LEGAL! Are the background spots new? I don't remember having spots before my eyes after reading your blog ....LOL

  15. Great purchases. I was so pleased with one I made on ebay a few days ago. I ordered a grabbag for my stash and I was so happy with the material I got, I plan on getting more from that seller. I do love the rose pattern.

  19. I think you're totally justifed with this one!! You didn't buy them all together... as a 'kit'... separate purchases that just happen to compliment each other don't count!!!! BEAUTIFUL!

  24. These posts just make me smile Peg. :-)
I could argue but I won't. I admit defeat and I'll give you this one as a bundle of fabric. Very nice fabric I MUST say.
So is this what you are going to make NOW or just SHOW & TELL?

  25. I can't imagine what all the fuss is about Peg....Of course it is two separate purchases! Two very clever ones actually....imagine what a waste the pattern purchase would havebeen if you hadn't found that !!
It's like I told DH yesterday......the lovely knitted vest that turned up in the mail from shoppe Two Ten in Quirindi is quite separate from the jacket I bought on the way to Nundle! Absolutely not part of what that weekend cost! Right??
I'm definately on the same page girlfriend!

  31. Oh Peg, sounds like you are trying to convince yourself!!! Good on you...can't wait to see it finished! sewing speed queen!! Jo xo

  32. This is definately not a kit - I should know - I was there and Hellsbells and I bought the kits. We saved you - you only needed to buy the fabric. However I'll take bets that you will finish this before I even start so it doesn't matter. It's only a problem if you buy the kits and don't make them - (ahh so that's my problem.)
